In a state of calm delight 😆 nyeheh just one of my many bungisngis moments, laughing til my sides hurt lol. A gentle reminder (mostly to myself) to let joy flow deep even in the midst of adversity. It’s easier to rejoice when things are going smoothly but always harder during uncertain times. Life can be pretty painful sometimes like there are really so many joy robbers (anxiety, conflicts, greed, impurities and the list goes on) but always keep in mind that God is sovereign. Remain steadfast in hope and learn to trust the Creator. ♥

What’s the new normal💭
The Covid-19 pandemic has been difficult on everyone. There have been some drastic changes to our way of life and we have also witnessed the impact lockdown can have on others. For most people, it’s the lack of financial means as they depend on their jobs for survival. For some, it can be the struggles with anxiety from the traumatic crisis. In my case, I’ve tried to take a step back and do things at my own pace one day at a time. I still get to work from home but for the most part, I relish the opportunity to be alone with my own thoughts, to process and reflect on the situation, and to be still with the Lord. And tbh, moments where I pause to take some time off from the center of crazy have helped me get through hard days.
If you’re feeling the same way, know that this response is normal and understandable. Make big strides by taking small steps even if progress may sometimes seem minuscule. One day, maybe not soon but one day, you’ll see how these baby steps can add up to something much greater over time. Most importantly, know that you are not alone in this journey. Social distancing is not social isolation. You are allowed to stay connected, continue to communicate with your fam and loved ones even in this time of physical distancing. Stay safe and hang in there, tough cookie!

i’m back after being mia for like two weeks ~
tbh it’s just the beginning of 2020 but it already feels like one of the toughest years. this month tho, i’ll try to focus on what’s going right instead of what’s not working out in my life. just need to remind myself that there’s beauty in the unknown & that i don’t need to have everything figured out. one day, all the waiting will make sense. for now, i will keep going, even at a slow and steady pace. happy (self) love month ♥
